È il quinto singolo per Regno Unito e Libano estratto dall'album Life in Cartoon Motion di Mika del 2007. Il tema della canzone sono le cosiddette "Ragazze Grasse" che Mika sostiene in modo altamente spiritoso in tutto il testo della canzone.
Successivamente Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) è stata pubblicata anche in Germania e molti altri paesi europei oltre che al Regno Unito dove è entrata nella top 10 dei singolo più venduti.
Mika ha riregistrato il brano, che verrà usato come promo per la seconda stagione della serie tv Ugly Betty, cambiando le parole in "Hey Betty, You Are Beautiful".

Grace Kelly, primo singolo di Mika...

Grace Kelly è il primo singolo del cantante libanese Mika, pubblicato il 29 gennaio 2007. Il brano ha ottenuto un successo globale, specialmente nel Regno Unito dove è rimasto al primo posto in classifica di vendite per cinque settimane.
L'uso virtuosistico del registro di falsetto nella canzone ricordano in modo molto evidente la voce di Freddie Mercury a cui Mika è stato paragonato e che è citato apertamente nel testo della canzone. Il brano musicale è stato inoltre utilizzato in due episodi della serie tv americana Ugly Betty.
Il titolo della canzone si riconduce al personaggio di Grace Kelly, attrice teatrale e cinematografica americana divenuta Principessa di Monaco: il significato della canzone è infatti una bonaria presa in giro ai cantanti che cercano di cambiare stile solo per diventare famosi. In essa il cantante ha reso noto che ha scritto questa canzone come protesta verso le case discografiche che avevano rifiutato i suoi lavori e gli avevano proposto di crearsi un'immagine a lui non gradita.
